STEP ONE
PREP YOUR SKIN
In order to get the best out of your mother of the bride makeup look, you need to hydrate and prepare your skin.

• Start by applying Hydrating Face Tonic all over the skin – if your skin is normal to oily then apply with a cotton pad, but for dry to extra dry use your hands for added hydration.

• Next, layer Vitamin Enriched Face Base gently on the skin, followed by the Hydrating Eye Cream around the eye area.

• Then prep the lips with Lip Balm SPF 15 - doing this at the beginning of your makeup will mean your lips are perfectly hydrated for when you apply your lipstick.

STEP TWO
ACE YOUR BASE
These products are perfect for creating a makeup look for mother of the bride over 50 as they include good-for-skin ingredients for a healthy-looking complexion.

• Start with a Skin Corrector Stick under the eye to neutralise undereye darkness and pigmentation across the face.

• Then layer Skin Full Cover Concealer under the eyes and blend out to the top of the cheekbone for a brighter, even finish.

• Next, use Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation SPF 15 with the Full Coverage Face Brush, starting at the areas of the skin where you see the most discolouration.

• Set your makeup with the Sheer Finished Pressed Powder focusing on the T-zone and blending out wherever you see shine. Top tip! Keep this product in your bag for touch ups throughout the day.

• Apply Bronzing Powder where the sun would naturally hit the skin, start on the forehead, blending down to the cheekbones and jawline to create a natural sun-kissed look.

Top tip! Add bronzer to the neck and chest if needed to ensure colour unity from the forehead to chest.

STEP THREE
Create your eye look
This eye look is perfect for creating a warm shimmer that will last all day, even if the emotion gets the better of you!

• Brush your eyebrows with our Dual-Ended Brow Definer/Groomer Brush and then fill in with the Brow Kit – we used shade Dark – start with any gaps you see in the brow hair and brush up for a soft, natural finish.

• Sweep Golden Bronze Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick across the lid from the lash line to the crease to prep and neutralise any discolouration, and gently press the product in with your ring finger - build more pigment by layering if desired.

• Next, apply Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in shade Espresso Ink across the lash line and smudge out with the Smokey Eye Liner Brush.

• Then apply 1-2 coats of Smokey Eye Mascara for length and volume, followed by a raincoat of No Smudge Mascara which is waterproof.

STEP FOUR
Finish with your lips and cheeks
When looking for mother of the bride makeup ideas, a good tip is adding some colour to your lips and cheeks helping to create a youthful glow.

• When applying our cream blusher Pot Rouge – our bride wears shade Fresh Melon - smile in the mirror and press into the apples of the cheeks, blending back towards the hairline. Pro tip! Use the Full Coverage Face Brush for the most seamless application.

• Add your Luxe Lipstick in shade Neutral Rose to the lips for a softer finish and press in with your finger to create a natural stain to the lip, or swipe for more pigment.

• Then finish with Crushed Oil Infused Gloss in shade New Romantic.
